Join AFL ID

I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with the AFL to design an experience aimed at attracting both new and existing customers to their account linking system, AFL ID.

By focusing on user-centric design principles, I aimed to make AFL ID an indispensable tool for every AFL fan, enhancing their overall experience and fostering a deeper connection with the sport they love.

To encourage users to log in or sign up for AFL ID, a prompt card appears during their first session after the introduction of AFL ID. This card highlights the benefits of AFL ID, such as personalized content, exclusive event access, and streamlined account management. Designed to match the visual identity of the AFL ID brand, the card seamlessly integrates into the user interface, making the sign-up process both appealing and intuitive.

AFL ID is essential for an enhanced user experience on the AFL app. If users choose not to sign up when they first load the app, they are further encouraged to do so. A persistent prompt appears on the AFL home page, urging them to log in or sign up, and remains until they take action. Additionally, certain content, such as videos, is locked until the user logs in or signs up, ensuring they understand the value of AFL ID.

This prompt is also present on the AFL website, ensuring a consistent experience between the mobile application and the website
